Three of Bladen County Recreation’s all-star basketball teams won opening round games in the State-Wide Athletics Committee sectional tournaments Friday night.

Bladen County’s 12U Boys (pictured above) rolled past Hamlet 39-19 in their sectional tournament at Sycamore Lane Elementary School in Laurinburg. The Bladen All-Stars advance to play the Spring Lake Spartans Saturday at 11:15 a.m.

The Bladen County 10U Boys (pictured above) defeated Henderson-Vance 38-29 Friday night at Selma Middle School in Selma. The Bladen 10U Boys All-Stars will play the Cleveland Rams at 11:30 a.m. Saturday.

The Bladen County 10U Girls outlasted Dunn 18-14 Friday night at the Aycock Recreation Center in Henderson. The Bladen 10U Girls All-Stars are scheduled to play CCP&R at 10 a.m. Saturday.

The Bladen County 12U Girls received a first round bye in their tournament at the West New Bern Recreation Center in New Bern. Bladen County will play the Duplin County/Knightdale winner at 10:15 a.m. Saturday.
