WILMINGTON – East Bladen seniors Malcolm Bolden and Jacob Nixon were named to the Hoggard Holiday Classic Boys All-Tournament team Thursday night, and Lady Eagle sophomore Laila Smith was named to the Girls All-Tournament team for the Classic.
Bolden averaged 20.5 points, 7 assists, 2.5 steals and 3 rebounds in the 2 Eagle games in the Classic. Nixon scored 16 points per game, pulled down 5.5 rebounds per game and averaged 3 steals and 2.5 assists per game.
Smith posted a double-double in East Bladen’s Wednesday game and averaged 13 points, 10 rebounds, 1.5 steals and 1 assist in her 2 games in the Classic.
