LGFCUlogoRALEIGH — Local Government Federal Credit Union (LGFCU) proudly announces the re-election of Paul Miller of Snow Hill,  Aaron Noble of Burlington and Kellie Blue of Pembroke to its Board of Directors.

Dr. Aaron Noble, Human Resources Director for the City of Burlington, began his service with LGFCU as a member of the former Northern Piedmont Advisory Council in 1997. He later served on the Loan Review Committee for several years prior to his appointment to the Board of Directors in 2011. He currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors.

Kellie Blue, Director of Finance for Robeson County and Chairman of the Board of Trustees for the University of North Carolina at Pembroke, began her service in 2006 serving on the Eastern Sandhills Advisory Council. She joined the Board of Directors in 2012. Ms. Blue is currently serving as Secretary of the Board of Directors.

Paul Miller, retired Executive Director of the North Carolina State Firemen’s Association, began his service with LGFCU in 1999 serving on the Eastern Carolina Advisory Council. He joined the Board of Directors in 2000 and currently serves as Chairman of the compensation committee.

“Coming from local government and community leadership, Aaron, Paul and Kellie are all true representatives of the membership, meaning they are best able to advocate for the Credit Union,” said LGFCU President Maurice Smith. “We are delighted to have them on the Board for another three-year term.”

Like other members of the nine-person Board, all three contribute their time and effort without compensation.
