WHITEVILLE – Three Rivers Conference President David Smith has released the brackets and other information for the TRC boys and girls basketball tournament that will be played the week of Feb. 17-21.
The top 8 finishers in the regular season standings will make the tournament. The top four seeds will host first round games on Monday, Feb. 17 with the following pairings.
No. 8 at No. 1
No. 7 at No. 2
No. 6 at No. 3
No. 5 at No. 4
If there is a single game at a school on Monday, it will begin at 7 p.m. If a school’s boys and girls are both hosting games, the girls game will start at 6 p.m.
East Columbus High School will host the semifinals and finals with the following schedule:
Wednesday, Feb. 19
6 p.m. Winner No.1/No. 8 vs. Winner No. 4/No. 5 Girls
7:30 Winner No.1/No. 8 vs. Winner No. 4/No. 5 Boys
Thursday, Feb. 20
6 p.m. Winner No.2/No. 7 vs. Winner No. 3/No. 6 Girls
7:30 Winner No.2/No. 7 vs. Winner No. 3/No. 6 Boys
Friday, Feb. 21
6 p.m. Girls Championship Game
7:30 Boys Championship Game
Admission will be $6 for all tournament games.
