ELIZABETHTOWN- Two East Bladen doubles teams and West Bladen singles player Jose Osorio have all qualified for the Class 2A Mid-East Boys Tennis Regionals due to their finish Tuesday in the Three Rivers Conference Tournament.

The East Bladen doubles team of Jay McGill and Jake Evans advances to regional play as the No. 2 seed from the Three Rivers, while the Eagle team of Jackson Bostic and Will Hester will be the No. 3 seeded team from the TRC.

West Bladen’s Osorio qualified as the No. 3 singles seed from the Three Rivers. Osorio lost to eventual TRC runner-up Andrew Cahn 6-0, 6-3 in the third round but bounced back to defeat Red Springs’ Jose Alejandro 5-7, 6-1, 6-1 to claim the No. 3 seed.

The McGill/Evans team defeated Whiteville’s Kronnenwetter/Wright 7-5, 5-7, 6-1 in their third round match Tuesday then lost to TRC doubles champions Hester/Floyd of Whiteville 6-6 (7-3), 6-3.

The Bostic/Hester team lost to Whiteville’s Hester/Floyd team 6-2, 6-3 in their third round match. Bostic/Hester then defeated Kronnenwetter/Wright 6-3, 6-1 to take the No. 3 seed.

Whiteville’s Bridger Warlick defeated Cahn in the singles championship match 6-2, 6-3.

In earlier action Tuesday, the West Bladen doubles team of Logan Lewis and Victor Arellano was eliminated by Fairmont’s Perez/Hawkins 6-1, 1-6, 6-2.  West Bladen’s Eduardo Carranza was eliminated by South Columbus’ Juan Frank 6-2, 6-0 in singles play.

The Class 2A Mid-East Regionals are scheduled for May 3-4 at Graham High School.
