Here are three things to know for Friday, Jan. 3, 2020.
1. To paraphrase Alice Cooper’s “School’s Out For Summer” it’s “School’s In For Winter.” Students in Bladen County are returning to class today after the holiday break.
2. East Bladen and West Bladen basketball teams return to the court tonight. West Bladen is home against West Columbus. East Bladen plays at St. Pauls. Junior varsity girls’ games start at 4 p.m. followed by JV boys, varsity girls and varsity boys.
3. Final spring term registration for Bladen Community College classes will be held Monday and Tuesday. Counselors and faculty advisors will be on hand to assist students. For information about all classes at Bladen Community College, call 910 879-5500 and speak with an advisor.
