Here are Three Things to Know for Thursday, January 30:
1. Cape Fear Valley Blood Donor Center is having a blood drive Monday at the Bladen County Sheriff’s Office, 299 Smith Circle in Elizabethtown. The drive will be from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Call Mac Warner at 910-862-6960 to register. Photo identification required.
2. Middle school basketball games today have Williams Township at Bladenboro, West Columbus at Elizabethtown, Tabor City at Clarkton School of Discovery and Tar Heel at Whiteville Central. Girls’ games start at 4 p.m. followed by boys’ games.
3. Bladen County Board of Commissioners meet Monday at 6:30 p.m. in the Assembly Room in the lower level of the Bladen County Courthouse in Elizabethtown.
