1. Virtual Candlelight Tour: Saturday, 6 p.m., Moores Creek National Battlefield via Facebook (click here). Park staff and volunteers will tell stories surrounding the Battle of Moores Creek Bridge fought Feb. 27, 1776.
2. Tour of Churches: Saturday, Nov. 28, 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. The Elizabethtown–White Lake Area Chamber of Commerce is requesting a $5 donation that will benefit the Empty Stocking Fund. (READ MORE)
3. The White Lake Fire Department is selling tickets for its annual Thanksgiving meal fundraiser.
Purchase a fried turkey, baked turkey or Boston butt for $30 and pick up the food the day before Thanksgiving at the fire department. Tickets may be purchased from any White Lake firefighter.
