Here are Three Things to Know for Wednesday, November 25:

1. The White Lake Fire Department will distribute fried turkey, baked turkey and Boston butt today for those people who bought tickets as part of the department’s annual fundraiser. Purchases may be picked up at the fire department.

2. N.C. Highway Patrol troopers will be out in full force patrolling roads as part of the Thanksgiving ‘Click It or Ticket’ campaign. It’s part of the Governor’s Highway Safety Program to enforce seat belt use while riding in vehicles. (READ MORE)

3. The N.C. Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services Agronomic Services Lab announces its peak-season testing fee effective Dec. 1 through March 31. Samples must be delivered by 5 p.m. Monday, Nov. 30, to avoid being charged peak-season fees. (READ MORE)
