1. House of Raeford in Rose Hill will conduct a drive-thru job fair today from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at NC Works Career Center at 401 Mercer Mill Road in Elizabethtown. First and third shift available. For information, call 910-862-3255.
2. Blood drive is scheduled Friday from 1 to 4 p.m. at Bladen County Hospital in Elizabethtown. Donors can enter to win a Blackstone Griddle and Charcoal Grill combo and will recieve a Touchdown for Life T-shirt while supplies last. 3. The Lakewood Area Volleyball Association has scheduled tryouts Saturday at Galeed Baptist Church’s Family Life Center in Bladenboro. 12-and-under girls 2-3:30 p.m., 13-and-under girls 3:30-5 p.m., 14-and-under girls 5-6:30 p.m. There is a $20 tryout fee.
