1. The Bladen County Health Department is having a Flu Drive Thru today from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. The department is located at 300 Mercer Mill Road in Elizabethtown. Insurance accepted includes Medcost, Blue Cross Blue Shield, United Healthcare, Cigna, Medicare and Medicaid. Cost without insurance is $75 for high-dose (ages 50 and older), $50 for regular and preservative free. Payment will be required at time of service. Photo ID and face coverings will be required. 2. A blood drive is scheduled today from 1 to 4 p.m. at Bladen County Hospital in Elizabethtown. Donors can enter to win a Blackstone Griddle and Charcoal Grill combo and will recieve a Touchdown for Life T-shirt while supplies last. 3. The White Lake Fire Department is selling tickets for its annual Thanksgiving meal fundraiser. Purchase a fried turkey, baked turkey or Boston butt for $30 and pick up the food the day before Thanksgiving at the fire department. Tickets may be purchased from any White Lake firefighter.
