1. Elizabethtown Middle School is hosting a Virtual Curriculum Night for parents on Tuesday. Main session at 5 p.m. with a presentation by principal Jamaal Dunham. Grade level/department sessions at 5:35, 5:55, and 6:15. Parents can attend one of the sessions based on the time slots on their schedule.
2. Harvest Hunt Magic Tricks & Treats event Saturday at Dublin First Baptist Church. Activities begin at 5 p.m. in the back lot of the church on Albert Street. There will be a magic show, a message, prizes and candy.
3. Roger’s Wish is accepting donations of blankets and sleeping bags at the Bladen County Library, Bladen Journal and Elizabethtown ABC store through the end of October. Items will be distributed to the homeless and needy on Nov. 6. (READ MORE)
