Here are Three Things to Know for Thursday, October 29:

1. Harvest Hunt Magic Tricks & Treats, Saturday at Dublin First Baptist Church. Activities begin at 5 p.m. in the back lot of the church on Albert Street. There will be a magic show, a message, prizes and candy. (READ MORE)

2. United Way of Bladen County’s Days of Caring are scheduled Nov. 2-6. Volunteers are needed for a variety of projects. Sponsorships are available and donations are accepted. 3. The Carolina Panthers host the Atlanta Falcons at 8 p.m. today at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte. Both teams are coming off losses Sunday. Carolina (3-4) won an earlier meeting against Atlanta (1-6). The game will be televised by FOX and the NFL Network.
