The May 27 Thundering Herd at Vineyard Golf At White Lake found five team duking it out in 90 degree weather. Two teams shot 6 under par with the Stacy Owen team winning the playoff hole, hole number 6.
The winning team (pictured above, left to right) was Richard Sibbett, Ricky Wright, Stacy Owen, Seth Faircloth (standing in front of Owen) and Cole Spivey.
Second place went (pictured below, left to right) to Pat Melvin, Ann Beyer, Stephen Clark, Darren Heath and Ronald Gooden.
Due to the Jim McVicker For Sheriff Tournament next Thursday the Thundering Herd will not be held.
The Herd will be played next on June 10. Anyone interested in playing is asked to call the pro shop at 910-247-6132 before 5:30 on that date.
