Congress Will Vote Soon On A Continuing Resolution That Provides North Carolina With More Than $300 Million To Assist With The Recovery Effort
WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Senator Thom Tillis (R-NC), delivered a Senate floor speech to provide an update on the Hurricane Matthew recovery effort. Senator Tillis and his staff worked with Congressional appropriators and the North Carolina Congressional delegation to secure more than $300 million in initial recovery assistance for North Carolina, which is contained in the Continuing Resolution that was released last night. Congress is set to vote on the Continuing Resolution this week.
