WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Senator Thom Tillis (R-NC) issued the following statement after voting in favor of the Countering America’s Adversaries Through Sanctions Act, bipartisan legislation that imposes new sanctions on Russia, Iran and North Korea:
“These sanctions send a clear and unified message to the Russian, Iranian, and North Korean regimes that America will hold them accountable for their transgressions,” said Senator Tillis. “I encourage the President to quickly sign this much-needed bipartisan legislation into law.”
