WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, U.S. Senate Majority Whip John Cornyn (R-TX) announced that Senator Thom Tillis (R-NC) will serve on the Senate Republican Whip Team for the 115th Congress.
As a member of the Whip Team, Senator Tillis will work with his Senate colleagues – both Republican and Democrat – to garner support for legislation by reaching the 60-vote threshold.
Senator Thom Tillis said: “The American people sent a clear message in November that they want to see less gridlock and more results out of Washington. I look forward to working with my colleagues on both sides of the aisle to support commonsense solutions that will help create jobs, grow our economy, and strengthen our nation’s military.”
