Vote logoThe Primary Election will take place tomorrow (Tuesday, June 7) when polls open at 6:30 a.m.  and close at 7:30 p.m.

One race generating a lot of interest in Bladen County in the race for US Congress District 9 that feature incumbent Congressman Robert Pittenger against fellow Republicans Todd Johnson and Mark Harris.

There is also a nonpartisan primary race for the North Carolina Supreme Court Associate Justice. The judges seeking to be elected for that race are Michael R. “Mike” Morgan, Daniel Robertson, Robert H. “Bob” Edmunds and Sabra Jean Faires.

The Republican Primary Ballot features the contested race for the 9th Congressional District and this ballot will also allow voters the opportunity to vote for the NC Supreme Court Associate Justice seat.

Voters who are registered as unaffiliated may request either the nonpartisan ballot or the Republican ballot. Voters who are registered Democrat will be able to vote the nonpartisan ballot only.
