The Town of Elizabethtown Town Council will hold its monthly meeting today, December 5, 2022. The meeting will be held at 7 pm in the Town Hall conference room located at 805 West Broad Street in Elizabethtown.
In the agenda packet found on the Town’s website, a letter from Kenny Flowers, with the North Carolina Department of Commerce officially announced, “the Town of Elizabethtown has been awarded $2,575,000 in Community Development Block Grant funds for round two of the Neighborhood Revitalization Program.”
The Council will also hold public hearings during the meeting to accept comments regarding a land transfer to Bladen’s Bloomin’ Agri-Industrial, Inc., and rezoning parcels of land.
After other agenda items are covered, Mayor Sylvia Campbell will request a motion to go into a closed session to discuss Economic Development.
