Town of White Lake Commercial Mail Receiving Agency Clerk duties are considered at the journey level, require tact and discretion in handling sensitive or confidential matters in the program areas and provide postal service including public contact for the Town.
Work requires some independence and self-initiative in activities, requires the ability to effectively prioritize workload and manage deadlines. Guides may include a variety of written manuals and instructions, as well as oral instructions. Sound judgment is required in performing the tasks. Work is performed under the supervision of the Administrative Services Director and is evaluated through observation, conferences, and the quality and effectiveness of work completed. This position is a part-time position scheduled to work 541 hours per year ($4,761 annually or $8.80 per hour).
Education: Graduation from an accredited high school or GED, preferably supplemented with additional courses or experience in Word and Excel, bookkeeping, and clerical duties.
