The Toys for Tots campaign is gearing up again this year to help make Christmas a little brighter for children in Bladen County. Many in Bladen County are still dealing with the devastation of Hurricane Florence, which means there may be more families in need this holiday season.
Toys for Tots is a program organized by the United States Marine Corps Reserve which distributes toys to children whose parents cannot afford to buy them gifts for Christmas. The program was founded in 1947 by reservist Major Bill Hendricks, according to their website.
If you or someone you know is in need, visit the Toys for Tots website: https://toysfortots.org/
