On Friday, April 7, at 11 a.m., Bladen Community College will celebrate Arbor Day and honor BCC staff member Tiina Mundy with a Tree Dedication Ceremony.
Mundy recently received the Governor’s highest honor when inducted as a member of the NC Order of the Long Leaf Pine Society. The recognition celebrates state employees who serve their communities as volunteers in meaningful ways. During the ceremony, a long leaf pine will be planted on campus in honor of Ms. Mundy.
The campus will also be recognized with a Tree Campus USA award.
The public is invited to join the celebration. The assembly will take place on the Dublin campus near the Student Resource Center (building 7).
