VIRGINIA BEACH, VA – West Bladen grad Trevor Lesane blasted a grand-slam home run Saturday as his Wake Tech Community College Eagles defeated Bryant & Stratton College.
Lesane scored 2 runs in the game as Wake Tech padded a 14-10 lead with 4 runs in both the eighth and ninth innings.
In tbe opening game of Sunday’s double-header, Lesane connected for three singles and a double to drive in 2 runs as the Eagles rallied for an 11-6 victory. Bryant & Stratton led 6-4 before Wake Tech tied the game in the eighth 6-6 then won it with 5 runs in the ninth.
Wake Tech improved to 29-20 on the season with a 13-2 victory in Sunday’s nightcap.
