DUBLIN, VA – West Bladen grad Trevor Lesane batted 4-7 and drove in 4 runs Friday as his Wake Technical Community College Eagles swept a double-header from New River Community College by scores of 18-0 and 18-3.
Lesane batted 2-4, scored twice and knocked in 2 runs in Friday’s opener. In the nightcap, the Tar Heel native slammed a double and a single to drive in 2 runs and also scored two more runs.
Lesane raised his batting average to .312 and his slugging percentage to .442. The freshman outfielder has slugged 2 home runs, drove in 14 runs and scored 16.
Wake Tech improved to 9-8 in conference play and 21-18 overall. The Eagles will host Guilford Technical Community CollegeSaturday in a double-header that starts at 1 p.m.
