Lesane also received interest from East Tennessee State, Young Harris College, North Carolina Central and Winston-Salem State before choosing to continue his baseball career at Erskine.
In 31 games during his freshman season at Wake Tech, Lesane batted .306 with a .333 on-base percentage and a .463 slugging percentage. The Tar Heel native slugged 3 home runs, with 22 runs batted in, 8 doubles, 33 hits and 22 runs scored.
At West Bladen Lesane led the Knights in most offensive categories and was a key part of the West Bladen team that reached the third round of the 2015 Class 2A State Play-offs.
“We are really proud of all of Trevor’s accomplishments,” said Knight Coach Kim Cain. “Looking forward to the next few years and know that he will continue to make us proud.”
Lesane will play the 2018 season at Wake Tech, while he finishes his Associate in Arts degree and then transfer to Erskine in the fall of 2018.Share:
