Trooper Kevin Conner Memorial Foundation Inc BBQ fundraiser

The first annual Trooper Kevin Conner Memorial Foundation Inc BBQ fundraiser will be held Saturday, December 7 at the Bladenboro Fire Department immediately following the Christmas parade.  Plates will be $7 and will be available to eat at the station or to go.  The foundation also has a custom golf cart raffle and the winner will be announced at the plate sale.  If you would like to purchase tickets for the golf cart raffle, they will be available at Down East Pest Control for $10 each.  All proceeds will go towards the Trooper Kevin Conner Memorial Foundation Inc. scholarship fund.  We hope to raise as much money as possible to help high school seniors in Bladen and Columbus counties while honoring our fallen hero, Kevin.  Kevin was born and raised in Bladenboro and was a member of the Bladenboro Fire Department for several years before moving to Columbus County.

We had a huge outpouring of love and support during our first annual 5K this past October in Whiteville and we anticipate this BBQ plate sale to become an annual, successful fundraiser for our foundation.  We greatly appreciate everyone who donated time or money, helped sell tickets, as well as Jackie Coleman and the Bladenboro Fire Department.
