Two Bladen County Companies recognized by National Guard

Two Bladen County companies are being recognized by the North Carolina National Guard for going “above and beyond” in their support of the National Guard. According to the North Carolina Petroleum and Convenience Marketers, Haddon Clark III of Handee Hugos Stores and Wesley Campbell with Minuteman Food Marts are slated to receive the the National Guard Meritorious Public Service Medal. 

This prestigious honor is one of the highest honors one can receive and is reserved for those individuals or businesses that have made a substantial contribution to the major command, according to reports.

According to the North Carolina Petroleum and Convenience Marketers, this is the first time in the history of the North Carolina National Guard such an honor has been bestowed.
