RALEIGH, N.C.—The University of North Carolina Board of Governors Committee on University Personnel has announced an emergency meeting scheduled for Thursday, December 12, 2024, at 3 p.m. The full UNC Board of Governors will follow with its own emergency meeting at 3:30 p.m.
The purpose of these meetings is to discuss the terms and conditions of prospective employment contracts. Agendas for the meetings will be made available on the UNC System’s official website.
Both meetings will be held virtually, with portions streamed online to provide the public with simultaneous live audio and video access. The livestream can be accessed here, with the virtual meetings originating from 223 S. West Street in Raleigh.
Should technical difficulties occur with the video stream, the meetings will transition to audio-only format for public access. Certain discussions may also be conducted in closed session in compliance with the Open Meetings Law.
