Raleigh, NC – The University of North Carolina (UNC) Board of Governors Subcommittee on the 2025 O. Max Gardner Award has scheduled a special meeting for Tuesday, February 4, 2025, at 1 p.m.
The meeting, which will be held virtually, will focus on discussing nominations for the prestigious award. Portions of the meeting will be streamed online, allowing public access to live audio and video. The livestream can be accessed here, with the virtual meeting originating from 223 S. West Street in Raleigh.
In the event of technical difficulties with the video stream, the meeting will continue in audio-only format. Additionally, some agenda items may be reviewed in closed session, in accordance with the Open Meetings Law.
The O. Max Gardner Award, one of the most esteemed honors in the UNC System, recognizes faculty members who have made significant contributions to the welfare of the people of North Carolina.
