The United Way of Bladen County is planning their annual Crazy Fun Color Run and registration is now open for participants. The event is planned for 9 a.m. June 9th at the Elizabethtown Industrial Park behind Cape Fear Vineyard and Winery.
According to Stacie Kinlaw, a United Way of Bladen County board member, the Crazy Fun Color Run is an event to raise money for United Way of Bladen County. All funds raised will support programs and activities that benefit Bladen County’s children and families. Some of the funded programs include Bladen County 4-H, Families First, Inc. and the Department of Social Services foster children programs.
The cost to register for the event is $20 per person and children under 12 can enter for $15.
