This week’s weather pattern is shaping up to be unsettled with a chance for thunderstorms each day and a potential for severe weather looms for Wednesday, according to the National Weather Service Office in Wilmington.
A stationary front will move across the area this week and linger across the southeast before finally moving offshore on Sunday. The front is expected to bring an additional 2-3 inches of rainfall with it and some isolated areas could receive more, according to the National Weather Service.
Temperatures are expected to remain at or slightly below normal this week.
