Camp Clearwater at White Lake has several events in the upcoming weeks.
The nearest event is the Camp Clearwater Cardboard Boat Race on August 7th at 11 am. This is open to Clearwater customers and the general public. The event will take place on the beach area behind the Camp Clearwater Arcade. Greg Rowles from the Alabama Theatre will emcee the event and perform immediately following the boat race.
“Camp Clearwater Movie Nights” will be August 13th and 14th, and is not open to the public. This event is for Clearwater residents only. The 13th is Chapel Night, and the movie shown will be The Case of Christ. This will begin at 9 pm. The following night is Lake Front Night, and the movie shown will be Deep Blue Sea at 9 pm.
On Saturday, September 18th, Camp Clearwater will host a Food Truck Festival. This event is open to the public, and will include 15 food trucks and live music for entertainment. It will start at 12 pm and end at 6 pm.
Following the Food Truck Festival, Bonfire Night will begin at 8 pm with bonfires on the beach for Clearwater residents only, and not the general public.
