Local libraries hold events throughout the year to engage the public. This year Kelsey B. Edwards, Library Director for the County of Bladen, announced outdoor walk-through kids’ Christmas events.
The events range from letters to Santa to a walk-up “Merry Grinchmas” event. There is also a “Giving Tree” for people to drop winter apparel donations to those in need.
Registration for the children’s events is needed. Ms. Edwards stated, “Our event at Bridger Memorial Library requires registration and the event at the main library is first come, first served, while supplies last.”
She added, “Different stations will be set up with goodies to take home at both events! All state and local health guidelines must be followed at both events.”
