Bladen County Substance Misuse Task Force will hold their next regular meeting on November 30th, which is the fifth Tuesday of this month. The regular meeting was originally scheduled for Tuesday, November 16th, but has been adjusted to accommodate guest speakers. The meeting will also be offered via Zoom for those who are unable to attend in person.

The meeting will be held in Bladen Community College’s Auditorium, which is Building 9. Guest speakers, Mr. and Mrs. Steve Lassman will be in attendance, as they wish to assist those with addiction issues through financial support from their charity.
Mr. and Mrs. Lassman are interested in working with the Bladen County Substance Misuse Task Force to offer financial assistance when needed by someone seeking help.
The guest speakers will share their personal story of loss and a difficult situation in hopes of helping others through their story and their charity. Coordinator of Bladen County Substance Misuse Task Force, Dr. Cathy Gantz, stated, “Please invite a family member, friend, and/or neighbor to attend this meeting with you.”
Dr. Gantz also shared that there will not be a Substance Misuse Task Force meeting in the month of December.
