The July Board meeting for the town of Tar Heel took place on Monday, July 10, and the main topics were the Budget Review and the upcoming municipal elections.
Incumbent Mayor, Roy Dew informed Bladen Online that he was urging Tar Heel residents to register for office before the July 21 date if they wanted to hold a position within the town. “The doors are still open to register for candidacy to run for Mayor of the Town of Tar Heel” said Mayor Dew.
Candidates have until 12:00 noon on Friday, July 21, to register.
