SR 1166 (Page Road) is open.
SR 1167 (Lanier Road) is open.
UPCOMING CLOSINGS:
SR 1700 – Beginning Monday morning (6/8/15), we will begin the first of several crossline replacements on SR 1700 (Mercer Mill – Brown Marsh Road) beginning at US 701-Business in Clarkton and working northward toward SR 1710 (Elkton Road). Monday’s location will be 0.11 miles north of US 701-Business. There will not be a signed detour route; however, suggest using US 701 / SR 1711 (Harrelson Road) for access around the work area.
NC 87 – The southbound lane of NC 87 will be closed at the ‘Dupont’ railroad spur near the Cumberland County Line beginning NEXT Friday (6/12/15) at 9:00 a.m.. The southbound lanes will remain closed over the weekend and into the day on Monday for track replacement work. For the weekend of the 12th, 13th, 14th, 15th, only the southbound direction will be impacted. A signed detour will be in effect to use County Line Road (Cumberland County) / Chickenfoot Road / NC 20.
NC 87 – Beginning Monday week (6/15/15), a contractor is tentatively planning to close NC 87 in order to perform deck rehab on the Hammonds Creek Bridge. This work will take several weeks to complete. During that time, a signed detour will be in effect to use SR 1704 (Airport Road) to get around the closure.
