A local EMS Officer, Farmer, and Volunteer, Kyle Cashwell lost an arm and leg on October 20th, 2014 in a farming accident.Cashwell is well known and loved in Bladen and surrounding counties. Fundraisers were held last weekend to help with Cashwell’s medical bills.
The Cooking for Kyle BBQ Plate Sale held Saturday, Feb. 28th at Garland Hardware, raised over $17,000 for Cashwell’s medical expenses. Funds are still being raised. Yard signs and bracelets are still for sale at Garland Hardware, 29 Warren Street, Garland, NC 28441. Kyle was lost an arm and leg in a farming accident.
