The Elwell Ferry is not operating due to high water.

We have postponed the closure of NC 211 east of SR 1713 (White Plains Church Road) until tomorrow morning at 7:30 am. A signed detour will be in effect to use SR 1713 (White Plains Church Road) and SR 1708 (Rosindale Road)
