Due to the threat of severe weather during Wednesday March 5th, the NC & SC Statewide Tornado Drills have been moved to Friday March 7th. See the details below….

NC Statewide Tornado Drill: Friday March 7th @ 930 AM EST as a Routine Monthly Test (RMT) on NOAA Weather Radio. If you don’t have a NOAA Weather Radio, then set an alarm on your phone and pretend that it is the test Tornado Warning for your area. When your alarm is triggered practice your tornado plan. Participating in the drill is a great way to make sure you will be ready if an actual Tornado Warning is issued for your area. Take a few minutes to learn more about Tornado Safety Plans.
