White Lake, NC: Utility Maintenance Technician: Grade 12
Position requires assisting with daily operation and maintenance of Town’s water distribution and wastewater collection systems. Experience in water and sewer operations and/or equivalent experience and ability to obtain water distribution/wastewater collection certification. Graduated from accredited high school or GED is required. Valid NCDL required. Considerable experience in maintenance and equipment operation, chemical testing, and operation of potable water and wastewater facilities; or an equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and
abilities. Special Requirements: Possession of North Carolina Pesticide Operator License, possession of or ability to successfully obtain and to maintain North Caroling Grade II Water Collection Certification or any necessary certification required by the Town.
Employee will be required to obtain and maintain necessary mandatory certifications. Salary Range $30,609 – $47,444 – Excellent benefits.
