Yesterday, Tuesday July 2nd, District 46 Republican House Representative Brenden Jones announced he has requested a meeting with Verizon Wireless representatives in Raleigh. Verizon Wireless is the largest wireless telecommunications provider in the United States, according to reports.
Many in Bladen, Columbus and Robeson County have made comments about the service quality of Verizon being an issue. Dropped calls, no data and other issues with the telecommunications provider has many in the tri-county area frustrated.
One area elected official would like some answers to the questions many mobile phone users are asking. Rep. Jones stated he requested the meeting with the mobile phone service provider due to the poor service many are experiencing in the area.
Rep. Jones requested people in the area experiencing issues with Verizon service to comment on his Facebook Page. Rep. Jones represents Columbus and Robeson County.
