The Junior Beta Club has a mission to build achievement, character, leadership, and service among its members. Members of the club can start their journey as early as the fourth grade. This year Bladenboro Primary School Junior Beta Club showed how to rise to the club’s mission and won many awards.

Jayden Ruffin had the support of many state club members and won the title of North Carolina Junior Beta Club Elementary Vice President.

Other Bladenboro Primary awards are as follows:
Bladenboro Primary School Betas came in as First-place winners in Songfest.

Abbey Nance and Liz Miller won first place in the Elementary Performing Arts: Solo Duo Trio division.

Bladenboro Primary students came in second place in Recyclable Art and Apparel Design.

The Betas placed third in Jewelry, Mix Media, Painting, Skit, Technology, Two Dimensional Design, and Three Dimensional Design.

A fourth-place win was also secured by a Bladenboro Primary School Beta member in the Sculpture division.

In the Academic competitions, Nathan Davis placed third in Language Arts, Yonel Villegas Martinex placed fourth in Science, and Adyson Carroll placed fifth in Social Studies.

The primary school’s Betas will have the opportunity to compete at the Junior Beta Club Convention later this year. The National Elementary Convention will be held in Nashville, Tennesee June 29 through July 1, 2022.
