Vineyard Golf gives proceeds to Southeastern Carolina Crossroads
A large group of golfers converged Saturday on Vineyard Golf to participate in their first Anniversary Tournament. The winning team in the first flight, with a score of 19-under par was Lee Todd, Joey Todd, Kenny Stanley and Rob Conway. In second place, with a score of 17-under par, was Pam Taylor, Ty Wilson, Tyler Britt and Jake Womble. Taking third place, with 16-under par, was Richard Moore, Ander Dial, Ray Locklear and Ga Vance Locklear.
The second flight had a tie for first place with three teams shooting 11-under par. A scorecard playoff was held and the winning team was William Brisson, McKenzie Brisson, Ed Horne and Allen Brisson. In second place was David Settlemeyer, Jerry Potter, Mike Jones and Mike Clayter. The third place team in the second flight was Phillip Smoak, Evan Johnson, Daron Willis and James Sutton.
The men’s long drive contest was won by Lee Todd and the woman’s long drive was won by Kayla Gutierrez. Closest to the hole was won by Dick Webb, Jonathon Baker, Todd Kinlaw and Buzzy “Saw” Sholty.
All the proceeds of the anniversary tournament went to the non-profit, Southeastern Carolina Crossroads offering help and hope over addiction.
