Due to the forecast for wintry weather Vineyard Golf at White Lake and Land ‘O Lakes Golf Club in Whiteville have announced the closing of courses.
Vineyard Golf will close to play beginning Monday, January 20 through Thursday, January 23.
Land ‘O Lakes began covering greens and shut down play Saturday afternoon. The course plans to remain closed through at least Wednesday.
The National Weather Service forecast calls for a chance of snow Tuesday and a chance of freezing rain Thursday and Friday. Daytime high temperatures next week will be between 32 and 40 degrees with lows overnight in the teens.
