Stacy Owen shot his age (68) to highlight this week’s action at Vineyard Golf at White Lake. Other golfers who shot 68 this week were Ricky Marvin and Brian Tart.Tart eagled Hole #13 during his round of 68.
Other top scores this week were turned in by: Luke Gooden (71, 74), Cade Hancock (71), Evan Johnson (72, 74), Jeff Brisson (73), Junior Nance (73, 73), Bobby Davis (73), and Mac McClure(74, 75).
The last Thursday Thundering Herd of the season was won by the team of Campbell White, Kent Fisher and Chad Garner who finished with a score of 6-under-par. Fisher holed out from the fairway on Hole #6 for an eagle 2.
The team of Blake Davis, Jason Douglas and Pam Davis Taylor finished second with a score of 5-under-par.
An 18-hole Thundering Herd Finale will be held Saturday, September 8th at 2 p.m. with a Shotgun Start. Cost for members is $38 each – guests will be $45 each. $20 from each player goes into the pot for the winners. Call 910-247-6132 to enter before 1:30 p.m. on the 8th.
