ELIZABETHTOWN- East Bladen rallied to win the final 2 sets and defeated Clinton 3-2 Tuesday night in Southeastern Athletic Conference volleyball action by set scores of 27-25, 23-25, 21-25, 25-12 and 15-11.

Senior Karli Priest directed the Lady Eagle attack distributing a season-high 38 assists and totaling 1 kill, 1 ace and 2 digs. Senior Acee Campbell lit up the scoreboard with 19 kills, a block and had 3 digs. Senior Emma Turbeville drilled in 4 aces, a kill and had 4 digs.

Senior Maegan Burney blasted in 9 kills, 4 aces and led the defense with 7 digs. Sophomore Miriam DeVane battered the Clinton defense with 8 kills, 5 blocks and had 2 digs. Senior Trinity Cromartie pounded in 6 kills and had 1 dig.

Senior AnnaGrey Heustess racked up 3 kills, 2 aces, 2 assists and 4 digs. Junior Dyiamon Robinson knocked in 2 kills and a block. Senior Cydney Campbell added 1 dig.

Coach Jordan Raynor’s Lady Eagles evened their SAC-7 record at 1-1 and are now 3-4 overall. East Bladen will travel to rival West Bladen Thursday night.
