East Bladen’s Lady Eagles swept visiting Midway 3-0 Tuesday night in Four County Conference volleyball action by game scores of 25-15, 25-12 and 25-22.
Senior Miller Heustess posted a double-double with 12 service points and 11 assists for the winners and added 3 aces, a kill and a block. Senior Lacey Suggs poured in 14 service points, 5 aces, 7 kills and had 3 assists.
Junior Lexie Mendell hammered in 11 kills, 5 service points, 2 blocks and an ace for the Lady Eagles. Senior Claire Campbell racked up 8 service points, 3 aces, 2 assists and a kill.
Sophomore Hannah DeVane slammed in 5 kills and 5 service points for East Bladen. Senior Abby Ward tallied 6 service points and a kill. Junior Anna Grace Long added a kill and an assist.
Coach Jennifer Hair’s Lady Eagles evened their conference record at 4-4 and their overall mark at 7-7. East Bladen will host Four County leader Clinton Thursday night.
