East Bladen’s Lady Eagles swept Union 3-0 Tuesday night in a Four County Conference volleyball match at Union by game scores of 25-22, 25-21 and 27-25.
Senior Lacey Suggs slammed in 4 kills, 3 aces, and 8 service points and had one assist. Sophomore Hannah DeVane led the Lady Eagle servers with 11 service points and an ace.
Senior Miller Heustess dished out 13 assists and knocked in 3 kills and 5 service points for the winners. Junior Lexie Mendell hammered in 9 kills, an ace and 5 service points.
Senior Abby Ward tallied 5 service points for East, and freshman Ashley Hardin racked up 3 service points, an ace, a kill and 2 assists.
Senior Claire Campbell knocked in 2 kills and had an assist. Junior Anna Grace Long added an ace, a kill and a service point.
The Lady Eagles improved to 5-7 with the victory and will host rival West Bladen Thursday.
