DUBLIN – Fairmont defeated West Bladen 3-0 Tuesday night in the Lady Knights Three Rivers Conference opener by game scores of 25-15, 25-13 and 25-19.
Junior Raegan Davis pounded in 4 kills and an ace and added 4 solo blocks and 3 assists for the Lady Knights. Senior Patience Parker hammered in 4 kills and an ace to go with a block assist.
Senior Mikayla Winebarger knocked in 3 service points and 2 kills for West, and senior Madison Collins banged in 2 kills and 2 service points. Sophmore Lexie Corrothers slammed in 3 kills.
Junior Callie Lewis tallied 3 service points, and senior Elizabeth Allbright contributed a kill and a solo block. Senior Alise Pait smacked in a kill and an ace, and junior Caroline Davis added a service point and an ace.
The Lady Knights travel to Red Springs Thursday for a 4:30 match.
