FAIRMONT – Fairmont defeated West Bladen 3-0 Thursday night in Three Rivers Conference volleyball action by set scores of 25-9, 25-16 and 25-21.
Senior Patience Parker led the Lady Knights with 10 digs, 5 kills and 3 service points. Junior Raegan Davis banged in 3 kills and 3 service points and had 2 digs. Senior Mikayla Winebarger knocked in 2 kill and an ace and had 2 digs.
Junior Callie Lewis hammered in 3 kills and a service point. Senior Elizabeth Allbright knocked in a kill, an ace and a service point. Senior Alise Pait slammed in an ace and a service point and had one dig. Sophomore Lexie Corrothers added one kill.
“It was a tough night,” said Lady Knight Coach Gaye Davis. “The girls started slow. They made a lot of improvement but just did not have enough at the end.”
